AUTHENTIC Vietnam war PERSONALIZED BOONIE HAT 1968-1971 WITH PATCHES. Condition is "Pre-owned". Shipped with USPS First Class.
my dad brought this back from Vietnam in 1971 it seems thicker then the American made ones
and size says (58) leading me to believe it is either Australian  or a NVA made boonie hat
it also has a Vietnam war head band
two grenade pins
us army military police brigade patch on top
us military police on front
and his name (dunlap) on the back
a pin of the American flag also
this is a very very  rare item see and have
it is also in great shape I would say
please look at pictures as you will see color changes in the fabric due to the wearing and use
I have not cleaned it so it is as is I see know defects except some paint chip from the air holes
also the chin strap is tied and does not have any kind of locking device on it don't know if it ever came with one dosent look like it
anyways a Boone hat with headband and three patches and a pin it docent get any better then this .
