Early North Vietnamese type helmet with cover, netting and faded star

Description

Early used North Vietnamese type helmet. It is equipped with a crude tan cover and home made helmet net for camouflage. Some scrims in parachute clothes are tied in the netting. There is a very faded red star in the front of the tan cover.
According to a good reference site, these type of helmets are mid to late 1950’s, just after the war with the French.
