The shadow-box picture frame clamp
V5-QRS
was developed specifically for joining shadow-box moulding. Use
V5-QRS
frame clamp to join any shadow-box moulding up to 3.5" wide. The clamp is built strong to withstand heavy duty applications.
Masterclamp was designed as a single hand operation to allow for a free hand to align the miter-cuts while clamping.

Gap eliminator knobs
- (mounted onto the support bars). Use the knobs to close any gaps and to tighten the joints (if need).
Quick Release
- (at the back of the clamp), was designed for a quick change of the clamp's opening to allow for the frame to fit in.
Clamp Handle
- as turned clockwise, it will create clamping pressure as necessary for a strong joint. (up to 1000 lb/sq in).
Support Bars
- designed to support the Shadow-box mouldings.
Spring Jaws
- (front of the clamp) deliver a powerful action "push and tighten" to help create a strong bond and a tight joint.
Instructions, How to use
V5-QRS
Draw the handle backwards and place the moulding to fit into the opening.
Coat both miter cuts with glue.
Align the miter cuts.
Turn the handle clockwise until clamping pressure is achieved, as necessary.
Use
the
gap eliminator Knobs
mounted onto the fence, to close any gaps and tighten the joint, (if need).
Wipe off any excess glue.
Allow 15-25 minutes for drying, before removing the clamps.
Done.
