Very cool item. Akron, Ohio became ground central for local retail "Charge-a-Cards". They were aluminum metal and looked just like military dog tags. Polsky's, Oneill's and Yeager Stores were some of the earliest in the 30s and 40s. Having a retail credit card became the norm - so Pop's Monkey Ward card is among the earliest. Excellent vintage condition - clearly readable front and back
