Up for sale is an extremely rare and unique, Peabody Museum of Salem (PMS) Signed Reproduction Resin Netsuke of Mice in a Sack of Rice. This rare and unique piece features what appears to be an intricately designed and almost lifelike burrowing of mice into a sack of rice. The amount of detail and accent work that went into this piece is simply extraordinary
. These seldom seen reproduction netsuke from the Peabody Museum were produced in the 1980s and are becoming increasingly more and more rare.

The piece is in excellent condition overall. Notably, there are minor table scuffs here and there and some minor dust, however, the piece appears to have been used very little as there is NOT any hard or heavy wear to the external finish such as scratching, chips, dings or gouges that would indicate hard use.
