    Description

    This fine signed Meiji period Japanes antique iron netsuke was created in the form of the deity Daikoku the Shinto god of prosperity and agriculture.  I think it dates to c. 1865.  It is 1 3/8" tall x 1 1/8" wide  x 1" deep.  The piece has a great old patina and is in excellent antique condition.
