Vietnam War, U.S. Army, M1 Combat Helmet, Original, 100% Complete with 1960’s Liner, Camouflage Helmet Cover & Helmet Band.
All Original Vietnam War, U.S. Army, U.S. Military issue M1 Combat Helmet, 100% Complete with 1960’s M1 Helmet Liner, Mitchell Pattern Camouflage Helmet Cover and Elastic Helmet Band, Nice Condition.
The M1 Combat Helmet retains its original Sand Textured Green Paint and the Helmet has never been repainted.
The M1 Helmet has a rear rim seam and swivel bales.
The Olive Drab Canvas Chin Straps are clamped onto the swivel bales.
The Canvas Chin Straps are complete and are in very good condition.
The heat stamp number on the inside of the M1 Steel Helmet is obscured and I can only see a small number “30” which has been stenciled on the front inside of the M1 Helmet.
The M1 Steel Helmet has no dents ore cracks.
The M1 Helmet Liner is a mid 1960’s issue and is complete with all of its Olive Drab Web Suspension, 1960’s O.D. Canvas and Leather Sweatband and adjustable Canvas Nape Strap.
The Helmet Liner is missing most of its Olive Drab / Green Paint on the exterior.
The Mitchell Camouflage Helmet Cover is in nice condition and all of the colors are nice and bright.
The Camouflage Helmet Cover is manufacture stamped (see pictures).
The Camouflage Cover has had two (2) small holes cut into it to on the sides to accommodate the Canvas Chin Straps passing through the Cover.
The M1 Helmet has an original Vietnam War, Elastic Helmet Band.
