VINTAGE ANCHOR HOCKING WAFFLE/STAR CUT CRYSTAL CAKE PLATE W/6 DESSERT PLATES~EUC

Description

This is a stunning dessert set consisting of a larger cake plate measuring 9.5" around, together with six matching individual serving plates which measure 6" across, with an elegant and timeless pattern sometimes called "waffle" and also referred to as "Princess cut" and a star pattern in the center of each plate.  They are heavily etched and have brilliant prisms when the sunlight catches them (which is why they were stored where they were for all of those years).  We had kids who were like bulls in a china shop (love them dearly, of course) so they were not safe around them.  While these are unmarked, there are miniscule bubbles present on some of the plates, especially on the larger serving plate.  They are old but there are no cracks, chips, etc., and they are in
pristine
condition.
